To use CX or BA FF program when flying CX?

To use CX or BA FF program when flying CX?
Do you get bonus tier miles for being a CX Gold member accumulating miles under the Asian Miles program? I don't see it listed as a benefit and remember that there was a promotion where Gold members got 50% bonus? Is that true?
My dad got a comp CX Gold card and also has a BA Gold card. So my question is which card he should use for CX flights? The aim is to get the most miles or to put it another way the fastest way to an award ticket.
Any thoughts?

i think the CX promotion ended already.
there is no difference if his BA card is based in asia. no bonus either way.
to get the most miles, your dad should "relocated" teh BA Gold card to North America

My dad has his BA Gold account out of the US in a household account. 
We did it so we can get bonus miles and also have a household account.
Sounds like he really shouldn't use CX Gold? Wonder if they will continue to comp him?
