Cathay/ AA Bonus postings

Anyone know how long it takes to post the bonuses (LAX - HKG 10,000) after you complete the itinerary?

I flew in July 2001 from LAX to HKG in F.
I called AA yesterday and the lady did a
manual post of 3,000 for my one way. Should
I have received more? Thought it would be
about 7,000 for paid F. Anyone have a
promotion code? Thanks

I only did one trans-Pacific segment (was on a RTW) in early June. Although the flight did post on the following Monday, the bonus didn't post. I called AA about 2 weeks later and got them to do a manual post. The N. American segment posted late (>2-3 weeks) but the bonus posting for that took only a few hours.

Thanks.

RTW - the code is CXMMO (or 29666 if you dial in). It was 10,000 miles for R/T or 3,000 one way for both F and C

I flew LAX-HKG in first on a RTW ticket, so my booking class was A. I signed up for the promotion, asked about the miles, and was told that the fine print list several classes of service, but not A.

The bizarre thing is that D (discounted business) got the bonus, but A (discounted first class) did not.

Call back and ask again. They gave it to me last year in A, though you are being told correct.

The problem with the discounted D and A class is that it does not specifically refer as to RTW fares but published roundtrip fares from the USA. There are 'special' promo fares in Biz class under D class but there are no First Class fares under A. That is the main reason why the confusion as to why D is permitted and A isn't.

My flight from LAX to HKG was a RTW in F.
Call back and see about getting that 3000
bonus. Obviously some people are getting
it.
