CX Premium seats on EF
Hi
Does anyone know what level of oneworld status the seats marked with a "P" are blocked for on CX flights? EF just states 'can only be assigned to a passenger with certain elite status designated by the airline'.
Potentially flying CX256 in a couple of weeks and J looks rammed.
Thanks all.
Pascoe

I know in coach, when seat assignments are generally not available (intra-Asia for sure, not sure about long-haul), even AA Gold (OW Ruby) does let you assign seats. Exit row wouldn't stick on the CX website (I didn't try calling), and I don't think there were any "P" seats on ExpertFlyer on this particular flight.
In F, Ruby also does let you assign the "P" seats (1A/K IIRC), but not the bassinet seats (2A/K), at least not without calling and begging.
