First Class Meals

I read another message which described a first class menu from HKG-BKK and everything on it was Asian. Does CX offer western style meals to those who wish them? We will be flying LAX-HKG-SIN.

I'm not sure where you read the F class meal on HKG-BKK, but if it was from my trip report, I had shown the whole menu and they had western selections as well. Flights to and from Asia usually has choices made up of 2 asian selections and 1 western selection. You should really try the asian selections when going HKG-SIN, as the asian food coming out of Hong Kong is pretty good..

JIMCHI, yes they do. Just came off a flight from YVR-HKG and they served Western style meals even though I did choose to eat the Asian meals instead! They did serve lobster thermidor which was prett good according to my girlfriend who had it and pasta with a tomato sauce. They had other dishes as well. CX normally has pretty good food in first so you should be able to eat pretty well and the Krug champagne was great!

We need more curry dishes instead of the cheesy sauces which are getting boring.

rite.....same reasoning that i will not ask for fish & chips in a france domestic flight (very hypothetically), or lobster for a flight originating from central asia, simply becasue it is not the specialty there.
you are asking the airline to find something that is difficult to find, even if htey do find it, it will not be of the quality you expected.

you maybe talking about the japanese curry on kix/nrt routes. this may make sense. then the airline needs to gauge how many people prefer sushi vs curry.....

do you really want a cantonese cook make your curry dinner?
