I'm EXP on AA, and have found CX to be much nicer in terms of comp upgrades than AA is. While it truly is a premium product, I think enough of their employees take enough pride in it that they might want to show it off...

2 Many Miles, I take it you're refererring to comp upgrades other than when J (or Y!) needs space? Upgrades "just because"?
Multiple times? (If it were only once, I wouldn't think you'd draw such general conclusions...)
Wouldn't it be nice! (I'm tentatively flying to HKG in J; F is too pricey -- whether in dollars or in the incredible 40X (40000 AAdvantage miles) upgrade.)
