LHR Arrivals

Does anyone know -- does Cathay have arrivals facilities in London? I figured arriving at 5am after a 13 hour flight from HKG would warrant a shower!

I searched their site (and here) and did not find any results.

Thanks.

I think they use AA's Arrivals facilities in London. I remember reading about an "arrivals lounge" for F customers on the CX UK website (info no longer there though)

Just to confirm for all -- 1st and Business class travellers to London can use the AA Arrivals longue -- once you land, you can confirm with the ground staff. Also, our flight landed at 5:10am -- and I was told by the AA Arrivals folks that there is usually someone in the longue at 5:30am -- but the longue may not be fully set up.

Do they have restrictions as to the type of first/business class passengers that would get admitted?

I know that UA dosen't allow those who upgraded from Y to C to use the arrival facilities at LHR.

I will be flying CX LHR-HKG in F on a CX/UA RTW (booked in "A") class. Do you think I can still get in?

The type of ticket does not matter. I was on a RTW ticket 1st class paid ticket and my wife was on an RTW award ticket -- and the class printed on the tickets was F -- even though my fare base was A and hers was Z.

daniellam,

If you are travelling in F Class, you should have no problem at all.

BTW, I see that you attend SFU, and I would be very interested to chat with you icq # 965812

I think JIMBOLIGUY earlier was referring to arrivals services in LHR ? and there's probably no arrivals services available with CX in HKG ?

daniellam, I assume you are traveling transatlantic from the US to LHR on UA on your UA/CX ticket ? if that is the case, I think you can only use the arrivals service of UA and not CX, although you're taking LHR-HKG on CX ?
