downloadable trip planner for oneworld

CX just introduced a "Downloadable Trip Planner" available for free from www.cathaypacific.com...they developed it together with OAG and there are 3 versions, one with CX flights only, one with CX and KA, and the third one with CX, KA and oneworld flights...after you install it you will then have access to all this flight schedule information while offline, building itineraries, etc...it also includes CX / MPO / Asia Miles contact numbers worldwide, lounge information in all CX cities, etc...

Go to www.cathaypacific.com, choose "Downloadable Trip Planner" under the "Flights" category...

I downloaded the full version (CX/KA/1W) but could not install it on a Win98 system. Install program repeatedly hung at the "Single User..." screen.

This is great. I just planned my One World RTW trip. now all they need are seat maps and to be able to pick seats for all of oneworld. Why has www.aatimetable.com not put up their oneworld timetable?

Great device- especially the way it lets you choose your own connections and displays the mileage associated with each one.
Thanks Tedhl

salt, yes, I think that is really a great feature...can easily find out the connection that gives the maximum mileage - as most of us want to do...
