"B" Class

I've never flown Cathay before, but I have a flight TPE-HKG this month. My ticket (bought by corporate travel, so I had little to do with it) says "B" class. Dare I hope to believe this is paid Business class? I could never imagine the Travel Dept doing that on purpose.

Ironic, that the Travel people never actually do any traveling themselves, which makes it easier for them to disallow expenses, save a few $$ with bad carriers on bad routes, etc.

Ah... B is economy.

On CX, J, D and I are the subclasses used to book business cabin seats.

"B" class is basically a one-year validity fare. Special fares have "V" , "H" or "K" class validity.
