Was wondering why they chose to make CPH a seasonal route? Probably not a slot situation like BCN. I would've thought a bunch of people go there in the winter to see the northern lights and stuff like that.

If people wants to go seeing northern lights, Copenhagen is not a good airport to start with.
From Hong Kong one can choose either Stockholm (SAS) or Helsinki (Finnair) and there will be only one stop from there.

From Copenhagen you may need to change plane two times to go the places where you can see northern lights.

Having grown up in Belgium, I would love to be on the inaugural. But it seems the inaugural is ex-BRU on Mar 25. The first flight HKG-BRU is on Mar 27 only.

I wonder if Air Belgium would still go ahead with their HKG route, assuming if they will commence operation

That's odd? I wonder if they're flying the aircraft over from DUS if it is cancelled as rumoured.

I was always wondering, why is CX flying to FRA and DUS in Germany, but never considered MUC as a possibility? As I am flying fairly often to HKG with CX it would make my life so much easier to have a nonstop flight MUC-HKG with them. I canīt imagine itīs because of EK/LH/AY serving MUC-HKG as well. That would also be the case for FRA and DUS. Has anyone a clue as to why MUC isnīt an option?

So, how do they get the plane to BRU to operate the inaugural?

Perhaps the very first flight from HKG to BRU is a "VIP" only affair (but then...do they strand all those VIPs there??)

Or maybe they are ferrying a brand-new A350 back via BRU and operating the inaugural!!!
