CX ran out of dessert wine

Yesterday I had lunch in The Wing and was persuaded to try the LBV. It was not enjoyable. So sad when I remember the 10 year old tawny that they used to have hidden away.

I just hope the people living the highlife up front feel sorry for the rest of us in PEY/Y where the Chardonney is from Grant Burge currently retailing at $75 in Wellcome.

To be fair for a cheap wine it is not bad on the ground, but tastes totally different in the air - revolting.

I think CX have discovered a new version of the 'trickle down effect'

1. Cut the service in First
2. 'Enhance' business to maintain the differentiation with First
3. Take away the small things making PEY attractive
4. Then god help the Economy flyer

Well at least we don’t get those little bottles like Club Europe or equiv. They don’t have Port in CE either.

I thought it was Club World (non-Club Suites). The world’s best Premium Economy class.
