Need Help with Cathay special offer but run into serious medical problem that prevents my flying with mandatory final departure date. Can anyone suggest a solution or a person to call at Cathay? Thank you!!

No clue, but I'd call reservations and see if they can do something with you presenting a doctor's note?

Perhaps, point to the conditions of carriage - 3.2.3 specifically:

Need more info....

If we can get a bit more info about your problem then we might be in a better position to provide a more comprehensive response....

with so little information, here are my recommendations:

1) Just call Cathay Reservations, explain your situation, and see what they say.

2) If you are a Marco Polo Club member, call them, and see what they say.

3) If you have travel insurance, I am 100% sure your situation has some kind of coverage.

Other than that, without further info, really don't know what else to tell you.
