Why are CX HKG-LHR flights so full for the next month?
Just realized that CX HKG-LHR flights are almost all full for the next month, even most F seats are gone and that is 4 flights a day (not all have F). BA is not as busy and their F class is pretty open. Yes, we know that the CX product is a lot better than BA, but what is the reason/s for the heavy traffic in May/June?

HK "tai tai" mothers heading out to supervise their university student children and organise meals etc. whilst they slog through exams. That's why it's J and F that are booked out.
I know of a few such cases.

Students.
Not just UK, but US as well. This usually happens around late May, early June. Graduation ceremonies are a big factor...I've seen one large family occupy one-fifth of J seats on ORD-HKG once.

I know one of the 2nd/3rd generation of a big real estate empire family in HK in person, their family buys 1000(!) bulk J class HKG-LHR tickets with CX every year. And that's just one family...not surprised that the planes are easily full...

I mean I'm personally contributing to 4 return journeys in the next month on CX W/J between LON and HKG.
All comments above have a case - but don't forget all those connecting traffic from Australia/ NZ as well; also office workers taking leave during low season to travel etc etc.
I just did LHRHKG last Saturday and it was super light load in J W Y - F was full
In conclusion, it is hard to say what contributes to the loading...
