I once had a Polish FA on a TPE-HKG flight. I guess she's HKG-based? Does CX's HKG base also recruit Europeans, or is she an exception (perhaps she actually lives in Hong Kong)?

Definitely HK base. There are a few Caucasian flight attendants based in HK. To my knowledge, CX does not recruit Europeans to HK base, like they do with the other countries in Asia.
