I don't put my middle name and I've never encountered issues with my ticket.
Only problem is entering your FFP online if it follows suit of your legal documents and you leave it out on your ticket; recognition online is a 50/50 hit or miss and they normally have to manually enter it in the airport.

Sorry what's FFP? I almost always put in my passport info as well when booking, but I didn't this time because I didn't have my passport with me... Should I add it online, or does it not matter either? My passport has my MI.

Sometimes, CX's systems accepts it when checking in online while other times, it'll say error and I'll have to have the check in agent or lounge agent add it in for me manually.
