Maybe it's time their IT system gets updated.

I Hope CX Management Will Be Updated Next
With dramatic declines and lapses in overall CX service quality and delivery, I wish Swire would update some members of CX Management.
My nominees of who should be updated: Ivan Chu - CX Chief Executive. Start at the top or near the top since John Slosar isn't likely to go anywhere. James Ginns - CX Director Service Delivery. He is apparently responsible for overseeing all aspects of the airline’s service, both on the ground and in the air. Joe Locandro - CX Director of IT. I presume that the woeful state of the CX website and app is the gentleman's responsibility. Aaron Claxton - CX Head of Catering. I think many on this forum thought this guy got canned. Alas, he seems to still be at CX. |
I hope they increase + 10kg baggage allowance on every class so they can compete with all other major airlines as EK, QR, SQ, TG, VN.

The company has been heading downwards since Tony Tyler left, the only real progress Slosar made during his time was fixing the J seat (which is one of the best hard products they've had). Now that Tyler finishing up his term at IATA maybe he'll consider returning ;) |
Tony Tyler was actually the one who released the famous Cirrus seats and launched Chicago during his final months.
I have to say that Tony Tyler did weather the GFC storm of 2008 pretty well. |

Finally, Ivan Chu is booted! ^ ... ten months after my post about my hope for updating CX Management. :D
Today's announcement indicates that a number of directors will be promoted or leave their roles. Aside from Rupert Hogg, looks like Paul Loo and Martin Murray have been promoted. Hopefully James Ginns and Aaron Claxton are leaving their roles and will be replaced with better managers. |

No mention of Claxton as far as I can see? Simon Large is Director Customer ... let's see what that brings....assume he will look after the 'customer experience' or what all of us on FT are interested in!! |
Let's continue discussion of the management changes here:
