The only CX club point run would be flying some of the cheap J fares with other OW members. Cheap Y fare with any other airlines will earn 0 club points, cheap Y fare will CX will only make 5 or 10, not much to be considered as "RUN".

MH has some ridiculously cheap J fare ex KUL to SIN that is like sub 150 Sing$ one way that I take advantage of for mileage runs.

or fly CX J from CAN instead of HKG. this way you get more TP and also cheaper J fares compare direct flight from HKG.

like CAN - HKG - TPE.
you can finish this trip in one day and get 80 TP for 3600 HKD.

So you could get DM for only 54000 HKD.

Just checked, and came up with "Business Promo" booking into Z, 2x15=30 TP's for 1,100 HKD / 200 SGD r/t. That's the cheapest I could find...

Normally what I do if to bus up or position into KLIA on a LCC. the return trips are one in the morning, one in the afternoon and another late night (last flight).
