Booking with KA or CX code share
Hi. Sorry if this has been asked before.
Looking to book to KHH. CX website provides options for CX code share and KA flight number for the same timing. Is there any difference to booking either or?

There really no difference, though it does determine which ticket stock you get if it's your first flight.
Personally I always go with the CX flight number whenever I book. But sometimes I'll book a flight and they'll tell me they can't get a seat on KA number, but they can on CX number (or vice versa).
(Though for me, I guess they don't want to have to guarantee me a seat unless totally necessary)

I mentioned this years ago in another thread, so I will say it again: If anyone is booking online and planning to pay with the American Express Cathay Pacific Credit Card, note that the T&C says that you can "Earn 2 Asia Miles for every HK$6 you spend on your Cathay Pacific flight bookings via www.cathaypacific.com and settled in Hong Kong dollar."
So, I have always made my bookings on the CX website, even if this means booking a CX codeshare flight (CX ####) on KA metal.
I am not sure whether booking on www.dragonair.com would still entitle us to earn the bonus AsiaMiles with the Amex Cathay card, but I have never risked trying this. Anyone have experience?
