Rebooking options (AONE3)

All,

I am due to fly from LHR on a flight booked by CX Tokyo as part of a round the world AONE3 ticket. I need to change it asap but Tokyo is closed until Monday. Any advice on who to call to expedite a change please? Many thanks.

Kind regards.

I assume your ticket is with CX, my guess is that any CX office could make the change and it doesnt have to be CX Tokyo, you could call your local CX ticketing office or HK.

My LONE5 was ticketed by BA at South Africa, but I could change it with Hong Kong or US BA office.

Also isnt it okay if you miss the flight, you could always rebook them on the same route within 1 year of the first sector?

Yes, missing the flight is permitted on RTW fares. (Although not sure if it triggers the $125 fee although there is no route change so re-issue may not be necessary)

You can also try the American Airlines RTW desk. Dedicated to RTW tickets and the best in the business when it comes to issuing and fixing tickets...just not sure if they can help on a non-AA issued ticket.

Can you call from Skype: 1-800-843-3000 and then ask the agent to transfer you to the around the world desk.

You can try them directly on Skype: 1-800-247-3247. Not 100% sure it will work. I know the general AA number does (well known AA benefit) but I always asked for a transfer to the RTW desk.

It does, the fare rules are pretty clear on this. I've gotten it waived in the past in a similar situation though.

Alternatively, you may contact their "global" ticketing center at +800 2747 3333
