Nice to hear that it seems to still be available on board at least some flights.
Anyone happen to get one at a HKG lounge in the past few days? If anyone will be in a HKG lounge, please ask if they are still available. Thanks!

No More Cathay Delights?
For those who like their CX Delight, but prefer a bit of zing, give the Wanchai Ferry a shot- not sure about The Wing, but the guys at the bar fix up a mean one...it wasn't on the bar menu of late, but they still do it.
And yes, Cathay Delight's on in even months.

Funny how the most arcane topics pop up on FT as I was noticing that CX is no longer promoting these drinks on flights I took a few weeks ago.
On certain menus, that drink can still be found... way in the back of the menu and buried in the middle of other drinks.

Actually every time I suddenly think of Pacific Sunshine I can always get one when I requested for it on ground (in the Wing, the Pier, the Cabin) or in flight (in F pre flight, in J during meal) so I think they all know how to make one and can make one on request (for LH... For SH like TPE, I don't know if they have those ingredients on board or not...) , just whether they have it as a boarding pre-pour or not...

Strange...
On my most recent JFK-HKG flight this week, even though Cathay Delight was on the J menu, when I requested from the cabin crew, I was told there was none and that it's only available on flights ex HKG.
Which isn't quite true because I've had Cathay Delight on my many ex SIN flights.
