CX906 & CX900 on 12/26

CX906 & CX900 on 12/26
Currently booked on CX918 out of MNL on Saturday. Trying to find out how full CX906 and CX900 are to see if we can try for one of them instead. MNL ticket office was a bit vague in answering when I asked them. Is there any way I can check this?

what does "we can try for one of them instead" mean? Change flights?
depends really on what booking code you are currently booked into on CX918.
unless you were booked in Y or A/J, the price difference will bite hard on your wallet.
CX 906

better chances on cx906 than on cx900

Thanks for the info. It's quite helpful.
I've had some luck in the past at MNL getting on an earlier same day CX flight without being charged. We probably will have to go to the airport quite early anyway because of the awful Manila traffic. I'd rather get to HKG early than sit at NAIA all day.
Interesting that 900 is more booked up than 906. Yesterday, CX wasn't even selling seats to HKG on 900, only showing it for bookings with a connection.
