Any experiences doing a "double interline" with CX?
Has anyone ever tried to to check bags through across 3 different tickets? I'm looking for any reports of success or problems.
In my case, I'm looking to do a CX-JL-EK (EK operating, but ticketed as QF codeshare). CX does have interline agreement with JL and EK. (JL also has interline agreement with EK.)
Thanks.

I've had CX check my bags for HKG-BKK-DOH-AMS-LHR and also on another occasion HKG-BKK-DOH-CDG-LHR with no problem. Flights were J class on 3 separate tickets: BA redemption HKG-BKK (CX operated), QR revenue ticket BKK-DOH-xxx, and then BA redemption (BA operated) xxx-LHR. Picked them up in London with no problems.
Predictably checking the bags for the return itineraries on BA from LHR was somehow 'impossible' according to BA agent... They could only be checked to BKK apparently so I got CX transfer desk at BKK airport to pull the bags and re-tag them, which they did without any problems.

I am considering checking bags from Hobart, Tasmania to London, Heathrow which is four sectors.
QF-BA-CX-CX... HBA-SYD-SIN-HKG-LHR.
Would I be pushing my luck?

For future reference:
The CX check-in desk at TPE was able to check my bags through after a lot of typing.
They suggested that I let them know about different tickets ahead of time in the future. Not sure how that would work...
The two bags made it through TPE-NRT-SYD-AKL, but one bag was delayed at SYD. Apparently, a 90 minute connection gives you hit or miss bag transfer at SYD.
