J Class HKG - SIN

Hi,

I have just booked a one way journey from HKG - SIN as part of a bigger trip around SE Asia in September next year, I managed to use BA miles and a small cash payment to get J. The flight is a 3 class A330, but I can't find out the exact aircraft code on cathaypacific.com either. But from what I can see on seatguru, both three class versions of the A330 have flat bed seats in J, even on a medium haul route and not the regional recliner seats. Is this correct?

Thanks.

Cathay frequently switch between long haul and short haul aircraft on this route. As this is nearly a year away, a lot can happen until then. They even switch a day or so before so you could even end up on a 773 or even 77W.

The 330 fleet has both flat beds for long haul and regional recliner seats.

yes re 3 class planes all being flat seats in J.

If there is F class and/or PE class, then the J class is the longhaul, flat bed seat.

They've actually gotten a lot better recently on aircraft swaps. It must be 6 months since I've had a swap and i do this route twice a month.

Did this flight in October, specifically selected lie flat, aircraft switched about 5 weeks out to a regional without telling us. Glad I checked, as we would have ended in separate rows. A little disappointed as I like the lie flat seats on CX.
