HKIA app update

Apologies if this should be in another forum, but since the HKIA app is a useful companion to the CX app, I thought I would try posting here.

I downloaded an update today (Android), which seems to be a pretty major revision to the app, and it is a disaster....it blocks my smartphone screen and is impossible to open. Has anyone else had the same problems as me ?

iPhone version looks fine... Some people said push might not work and need re-setup after update but seems not unusable

(I have a flight tomorrow and will know if the push works for me or not)

I am iPhone user and have to uninstall & redownload the app so it work probably. I will have a flight tomorrow and hope the app helps.

Works fine for me. Just update from App Store, not even need to make a change in the setting page

But I did have notification on before, so maybe that's the difference?

I have just reinstalled the app one more time (from Play Store), but always the same problem...first I see the new home page with the nice aerial view of the airport, then I get a page which tells me to "drag on the screen to show the slide menu", but at this point the screen freezes completely. I can't even use the back button to escape. All my other apps are working OK, by the way....

It works ok for me, I guess. Although after searching for a flight, the menu doesn't come up anymore.

i downloaded the update. it is very slow to load and the not as easy as before to see the arrival and departure.
