OLCI - is multiple FFP# possible?

I am trying to OLCI on CX for LAX-HKG (CX) then HKG-PVG (KA) - same reservation number. Since I am an Alaska member and KA flights cannot be accrued, I need to have both my AS and CX numbers.

When I booked the ticket, I had AS number on CX flight, and my MPC number on KA flight. Today, when I tried to OLCI, there is only one FFP number available for both flight. I didn't finish the check in process. However, when I looked at my reservation, both flights FFP# changed to CX and I could not change it back. Is there a way to OLCI with both numbers? If not, can the counter agent check me in with both numbers, or I will have to change the number at HKG for my connecting flight?

Is there any benefit of OLCI at all?

At the gate, show the FFP you want to credit your flight to.

Just report back my experience. No one could do it. After I attempted (but did not finish) the OLCI, all segments FFP# changed to my AS #. There is no option for multiple FFP# on OLCI interface.

I then asked the check-in agent at LAX to enter the MPC# for the KA flight. He tried a few minutes without success. All my BP still shows AS#. At HKG, I asked the gate agent to do that same thing. He tried, and again, his system won't allow him to do that.

I will not even try OLCI on my returning flights and see if both numbers will be in place. (My reservation shows AS# for CX flight, and MPC# for KA flight).

I had mixed MPO/non-MPO numbers on my bookings. Did you try calling MPO?

No, I didn't call. But I did try claiming missing credit. It was rejected because my name was not on the passenger list. I give up.

If you booked under a codeshare (even if between CX and KA) you must claim under the codeshare flight number.

From personal experience you can't do this online. But the airport checkin agent can do this easily to split FFP by individual segments.

Oh, thanks. May be this is why. I claimed with KA flight number, but the booking of a CX code.

Airport agent tried quite a few times both at LAX and HKG, and they weren't able to do so. I will see what happens on my return flights. Lessons learned here, do not even try OLCI.
