Oneworld flights connection

Hi everybody,

On 10 march I have a flight BKK-Doha with Qatar..

I have to book a flight with cathay pacific to reach Bkk from Manila on time for my 2045 flight.

I have two options .. A very early flight to Bkk arriving at 1355 ( via hkg )or a much better flight arriving in Bkk at 1800.. but just 2.45 before qatar flight,

What you suggest? I suppose qatar flight not guarantee if cathay will be delayed..

Thank you

Let's move this over to the Cathay Pacific forum where the experts can advise you on the CX flight options under consideration.

Look up the arriving flight. Does it historically arrive early, on-time, or late? Then plan accordingly.

Over two and half hours connection should be plenty otherwise. I wouldn't want to do a eight and half hour layover.

I'd reckon that CX would protect you, even in the case of separate tickets (check out a thread that I started on the OneWorld forum). QR- not so sure..but in this case, it would be CX's job to get you to DOH.

I agree. They tend to be good about this type of problem.

Interline baggage then in my experience they have sought me out to rearrange everything. It's one of the things they are very good at handling.

Also, won't hurt to all up CX beforehand and give the QR ticket details to cross reference- won't hurt and will likely save some time at check in.
