Basically it says CX running promotion for ex-TPE flyer with miles offer, that if you fly long haul you essentially get a HK / Japan / Korea hop for free

For details please check https://www.asiamiles.com/am/en/earn...0007d21c39RCRD

I can't understand the promotion.
Do I earn bound Asiamiles per Round-trip or per segment? Originally I thought it is per Round-trip/ticket, but later I read this
Mixed class travel is allowed, with Bonus Asia Miles calculated according to the ticket class of each sector. The Online Booking Bonus will be calculated according to the lowest class travelled.
It suggests that bonus miles is given per sector.

From what I read, it sounded like the ticket must be round trip, but bonus is calculated based on sectors.

If a person flies TPE-HKG-PEK-HKG-TPE with one segment PEK-HKG in business class and the other three segments in economy:
* Bonus Asia Miles: 3/4 x 3000+ 1/4 x 6000 = 3750
* Online Booking Bonus:
- First booking: 500 (based on economy - the lowest cabin)
- Subsequent booking: 0

A round trip ticket can comprise of different classes of travel like Y to HK and J back to TW so no conflict

Simply say, one way ticket won't qualify for the promotion. For a round trip ticket, reward is calculated on a per-sector basis

There is nothing in the material saying the bouns is per trip or per sector.

So there are two ways of interpretation, one is as cxfan1960 mentioned, a pro-rata calculation, another one is each sector earns a bouns, i.e. (using cxfan1960's example, it will be 6000+3000 x 3= 15,000)

What alert me is that the wording is
with Bonus Asia Miles calculated according to the ticket class of each sector.
without the word pro-rata, so it is hard to interpret that CX means pro-rata calculation. On the other hand, it is too good to be true if it is per sector.

Does anyone have a hardcopy (or a screenshot) of the T&C of this promotion?

This promo, R278, is now listed under "past promotions" in my MPC account. I could have sworn that earning on this was for flights up to 31.Dec.2014....

I think that's because the registration period of this promo ended on 31 Oct as per the T&C. And indeed earning on this was for flights up to 31.Dec.2014.

anyone has a copy of the T&C?

seems my understanding for per-sector calculation is partially right.
I have two ex-tpe roundtrip falling within the promotion period and I got 4x3000miles.
