772 J refit

What's the status of the J product on the 772's? Is the 2-3-2 configuration the new product? After reading several threads, I'm a little unclear.

Per CX flyer wiki, HNC and HND are done. HNL is refitting now.

I thought 772 will be retired? Will they get new Regional J seats too?

No CX has changed its mind. I believe they totally own these five 772s, and can continue use them on these regional flights.

Therefore CX is in the midst of installing the new regional business class seats on these planes.

These are as old as SQ's SV 77Es I think. Don't think CX will get a lot of good money on them. Might as well use them to supplement regional ops.
