End on end combos

Has anyone been able to successfully ticket a CX fare combined end on end with AA/US domestic fares?

Eg. SYD CX HKG CX LAX US PHX US SFO US PHX US LAX CX HKG CX SYD

Thanks - interesting. Trying to quote up the routing I mentioned in the OP results in no fares being available to the CX agent. CX however can actually see the availability I am looking for.

Was your fare by any chance an addon fare (which CX does have, albeit expensive) rather than an end on end combination?

One case where a TA might be useful. Every time I have looked, a separate fare in the USA has been dramatically less expensive than the CX add-on. The TA should be able to get both tickets onto a single PNR, minimizing the issues of irregular operations.

OTOH if you need the higher fare classes in the USA to "properly" credit to your FF program, then CX works fine.

Happy wandering

Pretty sure that's an addon fare rather than an end on end. You would've had an AA fare basis if that were the case.
