Claiming Missing Miles

I recently flown, on AA ticket, DOH-LHR-LAX-ORD-PIT=DCA-ORD-DEN-LHR-DOH. All segments on the inbound from DCA has been credited. But I had not seen anything on the outbound to PIT yet. I realized that we can file missing mileage claim for BA flights online. I have two questions:

1. Do I file the BA segments (DOH-LHR-LAX) online and the others on paper?
2. On the MPC website, it says to complete the form and fax together with the itinerary receipt and boarding cards. On the claim form, it says it has to be letter post to Tsuen Wan. Which instruction to follow?

I will be travelling through HKG next week, should I just stop at their airport counter to file the claim?

Thanks.

If you have time and the relevant paperwork to back up the claim why not visit the counter its better than sitting in the lounge wishing the congee was thicker than it is.

You can do BA online and fax for AA FLTs. Do note that AA FLTs always post on the Wed of the week after travel. Sunday FLTs can go either the following Wed. or the one after.

You should check your fare class for the outbound as well as many discount Y fares on AA aren't eligible for earning

Indeed, AFAIK this is one of the most generous partner-earning options in oneworld outside of a joint business agreement! We CX flyers have a lot more earning options on AA than AA flyers have on CX or than most oneworld members would have on any partner carrier. I've wondered why that is, but won't argue with it.
