Which airlines do you know or have flown that provide overnight accomodation for economy passengers? No idea why you have decided to format your posts in such a strange way either. |
Yeah, no..... good luck OP.
Thats not a transit, but a stopover of your own choice. |
Even ANA did away with their transit hotel accommodation for passengers going to North America. CX is even less likely to do so, especially when there are so many flights available.

No, many airlines do not provide overnight accomodation, and very few provide it for economy passengers.

haha I half suspect you're joking? Because otherwise you're asking CX to pay for a mini-vacation of yours to HK! I don't know any other airlines who do this for a voluntary, 1.5 day vacation. CX flies to KUL multiple times daily! It's not like you're going to a remote destination of theirs. Especially for a discount economy ticket, but even J or F would be suspect. 36 hours is almost 2 days! There has to be some common sense here. Otherwise CX would be bankrupt (or all our airfares would be 20%+ more expensive to accommodate all the people getting their vacations paid for by CX!). That has to be another $100+ USD in value, which I imagine is 15% or more of CX's base fare they're charging you. I'd love some tangible examples of airlines that provide this type of service because I know a lot of folks who would be interested. Say, fly to Europe ex-HKG via the Middle East but get a 36 hour all-inclusive stop-over to Dubai, Doha, etc.
Biman airline did 4 me even I just paid 290$ but they provided a free hotel with 3 meals and driver :D all this with economy ticket =/ also Turkish Airline and Arabian Gulf Airlines also provide that

So you cannot usually just choose a longer layover to be eligible if there is a shorter option available. Qatar: •There is no connection of less than 8 hours available. •The booking does not include flights to or from Abu Dhabi (AUH), Bahrain (BAH), Dubai (DXB), Kuwait (KWI), and Muscat (MCT). http://www.qatarairways.com/global/e...mmodation.page Malaysia (has various offers from time to time): •Two passengers travelling together with Malaysia Airlines from UK/Ireland to Southeast Asia, North Asia, Australia or New Zealand http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/cont...opover-TnC.pdf Emirates: •Economy Class passengers with a connection time until the first available flight of more than eight hours and less than 24 hours upon arrival in Dubai, and who have qualifying tickets. http://www.emirates.com/uk/english/p...i-connect.aspx Etihad: •Must book minimum two night, only the first night is free. http://www.etihad.com/en/plan-and-bo...ook-stopovers/ Turkish: •Passengers have right to have free hotel accomodation only when there is more than 10 hours (7 or more hours for business class passengers) between two international connecting flights due to Turkish Airlines’ schedule structure for maximum 2 nights. http://www.turkishairlines.com/en-in...rvice-requests And please stop using comic sans text. |

All that airlines they provided me a free hotel at least once .. my last flight on Biman was from KUL To RUH with transit 13 hours and before that on Royal Brunei from JED to KUL both of them provided me free accomodation with meals . On Qatar and Turkish also same my flights was from ARN to RUH with transit around 9 hours on Qatar and 13 on Turkish all of them they provided me accomodation . For ur info some airlines if u call them , ask them or check their site about do they provide a accomodation u'll not find anything or they will say no that's happened with me twice , Especially on Biman just by the time I reached DAC I went to the transit area then they gave me two options 1st staying in that area 2nd staying in hotel for free . so I chose 2 go 2 the hotel and I paid $21 for visa costs only . |
