Lounge Re Entry Stamp
Hi everyone. Read the FAQ and searched around. Couldn't quite find what I was looking for. If there's another more appropriate, mods feel free to merge or point me to the right direction.
Traveling exHKG this week in J with my boyfriend. Pretty excited as it will be our first "premium class" experience. We both want check out the 3 lounges at HKG. Not eating our hearts out, but a quick glance at the other few lounges while staying mostly at Wing .
I understand from reading a few threads, we can get a lounge re entry stamp? Is this still possible?
Do the agents take away the lounge invitation upon entering the first lounge? If we ask for the stamp, will we effectively be able to use the same invite over and again? Appx how long of a walk should we expect from Wing / Cabin to the Pier ....around 15 minutes?
Thanks everyone!

You don't really need the Lounge Invitation to access the lounges. Your J boarding pass will suffice and you can go to one or all of the lounges, go and and out as many times as you wish... as long as you show your boarding passes.
You may even go see the BA/QF lounge should you so wish if they are open. Depending on where your flight will be leaving from, it may be best to stick to the lounge closest to your gate. As it may be a trek to get back.
Welcome to Flyertalk and the Cathay Pacific Asia Miles forum, CathayGirl. There's a CathayBoy on here too but I doubt you're related.

Depending what is your departure time, but I find the QF Business Class Lounge probably the most peaceful if you are in there from like 10am - 3pm.

If I'm in CX J, no status, am I allowed in BA/QF lounge?

Just a heads up, the QF lounge is having some issues with cellular connectivity. Wi-Fi works of course but I wasn't able to get a cell signal, so if you're planning to make a call, plan ahead. They know about the problem and are working to fix it.
+1. It's basically empty for most of the morning.
Yes, just show your bp.
Food/view/etc-wise, yes, but if all you want is peace and quiet, the QF lounge is perfect (assuming you're not there when a bunch of QF/BA flights are departing).
They make a decent latte too.

Also I'm surprised QF is still open during the day as I don't think they have anymore day time flights to aust anymore?

QF contract out their lounge to other carriers- eg Delta use it in the early morning.

Let me add to the chorus of "no lounge re-entry stamp required"; and share a cheeky stunt I pulled.
Was flying a rather convoluted CX J ticket that involved a CMB turnaround. Passing through HKG, I was guested into The Wing - F Lounge, by a friend who's OWE. Used the lounge service desk to get myself checked in for the flights originating in CMB and then, on the way out, got the next day's ex-HKG boarding pass stamped with a F Lounge re-entry stamp.
Worked quite well to get into The Pier F Lounge, allowing me to use one of the private rooms to catch up on sleep while Wx delay pushed my onward flight back by 3 or so hours.
