Lost wallet
I was on a HNK-BKK flight this week & after clearing immigration I realised that I didn't have my wallet.
I went to the CX desk & explained that I had checked it during the flight & that it might be in my seat.
15 mins later a member of CX staff came & handed me my wallet.
It was an excellent flight with very attentive, hard working & charming crew.
Many many thanks.

That's a very nice story.
Good to hear some positive experiences from time to time ^
I was going to say " if that had been an iPad instead of a wallet, it would have disappeared" but then I remembered an associate of mine had flown this route in reverse (BKK-HKG) and had an iPad returned by CX in HKG. ^
There is still hope for humanity

This happened to me twice with my passport (once in BKK and once in MNL), and twice the Senior Purser caught me up with me just as I was about to reach the end of the airbridge/tube.

Yep been there, I was in F to Amsterdam and left a brand new Cannon camera with 2 extra lenses in the wardrobe, they managed to catch me walking out of baggage collection area.

Couple of experiences - one nonCX, but both at HKG.
1)Left my jacket, with some relatively important papers inside the pocket, at the Pier before a flight to SIN. Realized when on board, (and remembered that I had slung the jacket on the back of a chair in the PC area) a few minutes before doors close and told the ISM, who got the ground staff to call the Pier and check. No luck.
On landing at SIN, there was a groundpersonnel holding a placard with my name, and the message 'Your jacket's been found, it's on the next flight landing in a couple of hours, could we have your address and we'll get it sent across'.
2) AI flight DEL-HKG. Left my wallet and one of the phones in the seat pocket - was among the last to deplane (saw cleaning staff waiting in the aero-bridge). Realized just pre-immigration and approached (I think) one of the transfer desks for help. Was reunited with my belongings some 15mins later.
