Can anyone shed some lights on this? For itinerary out of DOH/AUH/DXB, AA used to book on BA flights to LHR before crossing the ocean for North American destinations. However, recently, in particular for itineraries out of DOH and AUH, the first leg tends to be on codeshare flights by QR or EY to Europe before continuing on AA (:mad) to North America. Does anyone know if I get mileages on those AA flights operated by QR or EY to my Asiamiles/MPC? I searched on the CX website and did not find (may be I missed some small prints) any information on this.

I would otherwise book it out of DXB which involves travelling on 2 separate tickets that I am not entirely comfortable due to frequent delays in North America and Europe. (I flew DOH <> NA three times so far, every time I got back 1 day late due to missed connection at LHR and had to wait for the flight out of London the next day.)
