CX807

Has anyone noticed CX807 has not been flying the North Pole route recently, instead taking the longer route across Alaska?

Would anyone know why?

Thanks.

...pretty normal. I suspect it's a wind issue. Although the winds are normally weaker in summer who knows, maybe they picked up. The flight route isn't a fix thing; the computer and CX ops determine the route based on quite a few variables, not least of which are a.) great circle distance, and b.) favorable/unfavorable winds.
