Transit - Change to Stopover

Hello there

I have a question even thought I feel like its a silly one but i won't lose a thing for asking

So now I have booked a flight from seoul to jeddah on the 4th of July and my transit in the airport is for 12 hours so I'm asking if I can make my flight from seoul to Hong Kong in the first of July and my flight from Hong Kong to jeddah on the 4th of July without adding any amount of money ?

Thanks

It would depend on your ticket. You will have to read the fare rules to find out.

In most fare rules, maximum transit can only be 23hrs 59mins.

Very unlikely to be able to do without paying any additional money.

If your booking is for a transit in HKG, changing that to stopover will mean an increase in taxes at a minimum. (However, if you book with stop-over in HKG, this can be avoided as the additional taxes were already included).

If the flights are married segments or on a promotional fare, changes can result in a substantially higher fare.

If you already ticketed, you may have to pay change fee or re-ticketing fee on top of the above.
