CX Fare Question

Hi All,

I'm looking to book a mixed first and business journey from North America to HKG in December 2013. After reviewing the fares available through cathaypacific.com and aa.com, I can only seem to book refundable fares in J through aa.com (either J or D class).

Is there a method or timing to the release of I fares?

I know there was some discussion in another thread about specific TAs have access to lower fares. Are there any available to book from NA?

I have to book in the next month for logistical requirements with my firm.

Many thanks!

So book through aa.

"I" fares may not be available on markets shared with codeshared partners, or from certain countries.

CX fares from USA are generally what you see online, or on OTAs.

There are some small discounts available through TAs in the USA and they have knowledge of these fares.. so you'd have to ask your corporate TA about them then.

Thanks for the reply. It's unfortunate, no I fares here then.

If you are talking LAX-HKG then yes there are both One way and RT I class fares with CX. F and I do combine if you need that. If you'd rather go F roundtrip then look at SFO as a possible jump point.
