On CX timetable's lounge list (paper print) it says LHR and FRA have showers, but not MXP nor the old CDG lounge. The news about the new CDG lounge doesn't seem to mention the existence of shower, either, although that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

A brand-new Cathay Pacific First and Business Class lounge at Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris, will open in late August. Located on Level 2 of the new connecting building between Terminals 2A and 2C, our new lounge will provide a comfortable and relaxing environment with over 110 seats, almost tripling the size of the current lounge. Its design features a spectacular view of the runways and an abundance of natural light – echoing the new design concept of The Wing and The Cabin at Hong Kong International Airport. And if you have time for a bite, you can enjoy freshly prepared noodles from The Noodle Bar, as well as a wide variety of new European and Asian dishes.
CX uses BA's lounge in MXP, and the BA Lounge Database doesn't show that there's a shower, either.

I am sure it doesn't exist at CDG. No mention of it on the CX website. Highly frustrating for a supposed "hub" airport.

Why do you say CDG is a "hub"? There are not really any connecting flights except the TGV connections (do they still have "code shares" on them?).

I've been told it does have showers. Guess we will have to wait for first TR to know for sure

Sorry I meant hub not for CX but for European aviation in general (2nd busiest in Europe) . Quite disapointed to see that OW doesn't have any lounge equipped with showers or even paid showers available airside.

Actually I stand corrected.

Just checked the CX website and they have updated to say that their new lounge has shower facilities. Good on them!

They still exist.

I'm not sure if it's a photo of the actual lounge or just a promotional photo taken from elsewhere but there's an article about the new CX CDG lounge on this link (in French).

In addition to what has already been disclosed, the article mentions an area of 600 square meters, 120 seats, the entrance glass wall designed by Fabbian and lounge walls made of Bamboo. It also says it will be divided in 4 sections:
- Bathroom area: 4 showers
- Work area with 6 quiet desks; 2 PC, 2 Mac linked to a shared printer. wifi and many power plugs available all around the lounge.
- Dining area: Asian and Western buffet and Noodle Bar
- Rest area: consisting of 50+ seats offering a view of the runways, including 5 Solus chairs facing directly the large windows.

Here is the official photo from CX on their Facebook page:

Guess I wasn't wrong about it looking like the LHR lounge + Solus chairs.

Yep, this is shaping up to be pretty standard fit-out for CX outstation lounges these days... a core set of materials, furniture, dining options etc.

Be interesting to see what the new Wing First will look like when it opens in 2013... right now the Wing Business is the one to beat, love the noodle bar & loft cafe areas!

Not sure why CX persists with those very uncomfortable looking and feeling arm chairs. They have no design in them, and look like two pieces of foam stuck into the armchair base.

Thanks for the link.

Looks like a significant improvement to me, as is the 773ER for CX 261/260 ^

+1 they act like they've reinvented the wheel. Except that they're not.

Any chance I'd have access to the lounge, arriving in RJ J and departing BA Y, all in Terminal 2A?
