Does that mean I have to take CX255/251 so that I could use the arrival lounge?
And it's run by AA?
Anyone could share some experiences on how it is comparing to the one the CX runs in HK (The Arrival)?

Yes, it is only available for the CX251/CX255 arrivals in the morning. It is the AA Arrivals lounge. It does the job, but the new CX arrivals lounge In my opinion is a little better....perhaps just because it is newer etc...

My opinion is that the AA lounge at LHR is better than the CX one simply because there is plenty of space. The food choice is decent enough for that time of day, and there are lots of showers with a pressing service.
The arrivals lounge is only available to CX 255 and 251 because it closes at noon, or some time before the arrival of the other 2 flights.

AA actually runs a very likeable AArrivals lounge at LHR T3.
Showers are ok, pressing service included as sxc mentioned, breakfast as well minus hot items and there are morning papers, magazines and PC stations to check on daily happenings.
No complaints but you have to get your Full English elsewhere.

just used in 2 days ago when I arrived on CX251. I think it's nicer than HK's Arrival lounge, simply because it's bigger and brighter. Decent shower (same as BA T5 lounges) and a good breakfast spread, with bacon, egg, sausages, baked beans, hash browns + some very fresh pastries. you can't really ask for anything more at 6am!

I've used it for god knows how many times now and I think it's a true godsend for those arriving on 251 and 255. The shower rooms are huge and there's plenty of them, so there's never a queue (unlike the CX one in HKG). Breakfast is quite decent with your usual variety of hot and cold items.
Just to clarify, the access rules are either class of service (F/J) or tier status (DM/GO). Remember to ask for an invitation at HKG check-in.

According to this article... hot food options were added later on and it seems over the years the lounge has improved its offerings

No, arrival lounge is not an OW benefit, and is only at the discretion of the airline, i.e. CX in this case. CX passengers can only have access to the CX's designated lounge (AA arrival lounge). In addition, only morning LHR arrivals (CX 251/255) are entitled for arrival lounge accesses.
