Seats on UD
Hi All,
After experiencing a number of problems trying to select my seats for my flights in September (see 'Seat Selection' thread), I finally have them assigned - 84A & 84K on both outbound & inbound.
Can anyone tell me if these seats are on the UD please? I can see them on Expedia.com as 'occupied seats' but can't tell if they are UD or not. Also, are these seats ok for a couple to be able to chat to each other?
Many thanks

82A/82K: One of you have to walk over to talk.
In either case, you cannot talk with or see each other in your normal seat positions.

No, it won't. If you do a search for "business class" and poke around you will see countless threads dedicated to (often, complaints about) the old business class (which is installed on CX's 747 fleet). Probably the biggest complaint is the fact that it is very difficult to chat with a companion, regardless of which seats you choose.

Also its a real bummer when people start chatting when others are asleep as it really disturbs other passengers as they need to stand up to talk usually. People who choose upper deck do so for the restful and quite atmosphere up there

Thanks for all the advice.
It's only a 4 hour 40 min flight so I think we can manage to sit without deep & meaningful conversations for that length of time
We're going on our 25th wedding anniversary trip so we can spend plenty of time at our resort being like newly-weds

taken from seat 88a. not the best photo, but somehow couldn't go into my server now.
i would prefer a&k, as you can see each other when you lean forward
and there are the emergency doors in front of row88.
