need a suggestion

i just flew first class on cathay pacific from hong kong to los angeles - which was truly great - and inadvertently left behind the wonderful toilet kit offered.

is there some hope they might send me a replacement? is it too much to ask?

i already sent a message on their website but i doubt anyone ever looks at it.

how might i go about making this request? it's a small thing, i know, but i really loved it.

thanks for suggestions!

My friend was op-upped to F HKG-SFO. He did not know that he could take the PJ home. I hope OP can get her amenity kit. Then perhaps my friend can get his Shanghai Tang too.

hi cxfan - thanks for replying.

i'm afraid i don't understand: what does op-upped mean? and what is shanghai tang? are you making a suggestion? not sure what you're suggestion is. is there something you think i can do?

thanks!

My friend received an operational upgrade to F. CX provides a set of Shanghai Tang PJ for long haul F. He did not know he could take it home. It is probably too late now, but if there are suggestions that can help you get your amenity kit, he may try his luck getting his PJ the same way.

BTW, you did not mention about your PJ. Did the FA give you a set of PJ?

thanks for the explanation.

i did get the pj's and took them with me, but i must have dropped the little amenity kit during the flight and left the plane without it.

i hope to get some suggestion to help me get it after-the-fact, but i'm not too hopeful. let's see what comes in & i hope it'll work for your friend too.

good luck!

You can probably buy one on ebay or taobao for less than $10.

i looked it up & found it's owned by richemont - a swiss luxury goods holding company founded by a south african businessman named johann rupert. don't see any connection to smoking - nor does it get me any closer to getting my complementary amenity bag.

but thanks!

When you fly back to Hong Kong, they will give you another kit.... assuming you're going back to Hong Kong at some point on the same ticket.
