Double AM
Hey guys was lucky enough to get a double AM promotions thru Canada. YVR/YYZ - HKG.
Promotion period between 01/FEB - 31/MAY 2012 ( Register between 17/JAN - 31/MAY 2012 )
I have a YVR - BNE ( stopping over in HKG ) coming up on 02/FEB. Would the YVR - HKG proportion be credited as double. or would I need to split the itinerary as YVR - HKG and get another itinerary for HKG - BNE? In order to get the double AM?
Clause 4 on the "Terms and Condition : This offer is only applicable to round-trip flights originating in Canada (Vancouver or Toronto) and travelling to Hong Kong. "

On a related issue, I am based in HKG and registered for double Asia Miles promo for F/J flights from HKG to Europe. The T&C says the round-trip flight should originate from HKG. I have an upcoming TPE-HKG-MXP-HKG-TPE flight. In HKG each time, I am only transferring. Will the HKG-MXP-HKG sectors still earn double Asia Miles?

I won't have to buy two separate tickets correct? (1. YVR - HKG -YVR 2. HKG - BNE - HKG ) I can keep it as YVR - HKG (stop over for a week) - BNE - HKG - YVR, for the double miles to credit on the YVR - HKG leg?

Interesting, that seems simple enough. I will likely book a YYZ-HKG-YYZ ticket before May, so would be nice to earn extra miles. Thanks for the tip. Where does one register for this promo?
