seating assignments using miles
Booked reward flight using BA miles of flight CX870 from SFO-HKG seat #82K
Booked reward flight CX0873 with Asia Miles from HKG-SFO seat # 81K

Anyone had experience with seating assignments being changed after request at booking?
Good seats on these flights?

Never, I`ve selected seats at booking everytime I fly CX and any other airline for that matter, but never been bumped from it, unless it`s a regional flight where equipment frequently changes EX: HKG-BKK or HKG-SIN

You can go to CX's website and choose whatever seat available to you under "Manage My Booking." You would need your CX record locator from BA for your reward trip using BA miles though. You can obtain that at http://www.checkmytrip.com by entering your BA / Amadeus record locator.
