Been there yesterday just before lunch time, waited for 5 minutes before trying the seats. When trying the seats, the FAs introduced the functions of the seats.
Overall impression, the new seat is great which relocate the room on your legs in old seats to your shoulders in new seats. The seat is private and wide enough for the fatty me. Seat motors run quietly, can't wait to try them onboard. The only thing I complained was the 3 pre-select seat position buttons was not easily discovered, make it to other colors would help! |
The J seats are the best one i have tried indeed.

Just went today and there wasn't a single person in line on a Sunday of all days.
The seat is fantastic and so much wider than the old design. No complaints. |
Will be going on Wednesday night(last day), just need to make sure I get there before they close down at 21:00. I hope they don't pack up early because if they do, I'd be frickin pissed.

Went to IFC today, nobody in line but had to wait a few minutes for the guy occupying the seat to vacate as he was chatting up the FA.
Overall impressions good - but I definitely don't like the lack of privacy from the middle seat. I asked if there was a privacy screen and they said no, that I have to open the cupboard door and use that as a privacy screen. You also see what's on the other person's screen when its stowed. I'd say full marks for window seat, with privacy concerns for middle seat. Overall has it improved? Yes. |
It's all over, I just tried the seat a few hours ago. And at exactly 21:00 I saw a guy starting to dismantle the seats. Guess the place would be the usual big open space by tomorrow morning...
No need to make any comments about the new J as they are all already mentioned above. :D When will the lucky draw results for the 2 free J tickets to SYD be out? |

Just hit IFC for a while. FA give a pretty comprehensive explain and ya, it's really good improvement from the current J!
