Missing mileage request rejected due to name arrangement
My wife made the missing mileage claim and it was rejected due to "Exact membership name not on flight passenger list". Now, I have the boarding pass, and the membership name is exactly what is printed in the boarding pass. It could probably be the name arrangement, you know, surname placement for chinese and stuff.
Anyone faced such problems before? And did you manage to get it resolved, and how?

What you need to clarify however is that the SURNAME is the same irrespective and the ticket was not booked as name / surname instead of the other way round.

Hmm.. the name on the boarding pass is surname/name (as do mine) while the name on Asia Miles website is name/surname although it correctly addresses my wife as "Hello, Ms. [surname]".

The card will always have first name other name or whatever then SURNAME.
if everything matches, I don't see why Asiamiles would refuse you credit.
