CX J Menu 2011
 
Inspired from CGK's highly organized and successful SQ F/J/Y menu thread, I think we should start one for the CX Forum. I will volunteer to organize the title thread and put all the information in some kinds of formats. Since lots of folks always ask what CX is serving on a particular route, why don't we start something similar to CGK in SQ forum? I know some of you don't care about it, but for those who care about it, hopefully it will be a helpful guide to present and future CX flyers.

If you don't want to type out the menu, feel free to scan it and post a link here, or you can email it to [email protected], and I will type it out.

This was one of the least memorable and worst business class meals served by CX in my recent history. The starters are strange, and the grilled beef tenderloin was a pure disaster. Definitely a poor job by Cathay Pacific, and not sure if return catering is a good idea if your plane has to sit in Kansai for more than three hours.

Chateau Rocher Corbin Montagne-Saint-Emilion 2004
Montagne-Saint-Emilion (AOC) is situated in the right bank of the Dordogne River. The 2004 Chateau Rocher Corbin is a blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc grapes. It is well structured, with flavours of black fruits and mocha. It goes very well with red meat dishes.

Dow’s Late Bottled Vintage Port 2005

This wine is sourced from the same vineyards that in exceptional years product Dow’s renowned Vintage Ports. It is aged solely in oak casks and bottled 5 to 6 years after the harvest. It is a full rich Port with spicy fruit flavours and an elegant aromatic nose, well rounded on the palate and has the traditional Dow’s drier finish.
