First class closet changed?

Last night flew HKG-LAX with my wife in F. Tried to put my 22" carryon in the seat closet but found they installed a divider that comes down to my knee. So no way to put my bag in. I've always in the past had no problem. Wonder why they now installed such a long divider down. FA found it strange too.

Anyone else had that problem? I was on a 77A. Wife was in 1A and I was 2A. Both closets had this.

And finally my first flight this year with no op ups to F. There were 3 of us booked in F. J had 39 booked. Y was overbooked by 15.

I've not been in F on a 77A before, but wondering if this is a difference between 74A and 77A? Or are you comparing 77As?

Did you fly CX880 that departed Nov 1st? I had a colleague who flew that flight in Y which he also said was full in Y and heard the Gate Agent said it was overbooked.

I was on a 77A in F on Friday and didn't notice any change to the closet, though I stuck my bag under the seat, which is what I normally do. Was in 1A.

I was on 77A in 1A as well last Friday, JFK-HKG though. It's seems the closet is the same, ie no divider
