The requalification op-up question
Hi all,
I regained my Silver status a few months back, having been a TG-man for a while. Since requalifying, I have had a few longhauls with CX and I am now 8,000 miles away from requalifying for Silver.
An upcoming trip sees me flying from KTM to South America via HKG and LAX. On the HKG-LAX leg, I will requalify for Silver.
Other posters have reported receiving an op-up when requalifying, but they seem to be DMs mostly. Does anyone know if there is a rule within MPC encouraging an upgrade also when us lowly Silver-members requalify? I will be on a D-fare ticket.

There is no rule. I have gotten it as a DM, but also not gotten it some years as a DM.
