CX SIN Lounge

Does anyone requested to use the QF Lounge instead of the Skyview lounge in SIN when travelling on CX flights?

If you are OW Sapphire or Emerald, no requesting is necessary -- you have access. Note, though, that the BA/QF F lounge is not open all day, but is timed around the BA/QF departures, so open in the morning and in the late afteroon/evening. The J lounge is open all day. Personally, the the Skyview Lounge is perferable to the BA/QF J lounge, if, for no other reason, it offers a view over the apron (the BA lounges are internal rooms).

Depending on how fast you walk, the Skyview lounge is 5-10 minutes away from the BA/QF lounges.

Ditto...I prefer the Skyview Lounge for precisely the same reasons. 1.) More open feeling (has windows facing outside), and 2.) Convenience to CX gates.

I actually prefer the BA First lounge as it's much larger and feels less cramped even when full. I also think the F&B choices are slightly better.

Yeah, I'll go to the BA/QF F Lounge if it's open, but if only the J Lounge is open, I go to the Skyview Lounge.

I usually don't bother with the CX lounge in SIN. QF F lounge is better, when open. The QF J lounge is not as good - very spacious but hardly any food at off hours.
