Hi everyone,

I am flying from Sydney to London via Kong Kong this Friday, on CX138 and CX257 respectively. I managed to successfully check in last night for the first leg as soon as check in opened last night. But I can't seem to check in for the second leg?

The Cathay Pacific website let's me go to the "Manage my booking" section and view the second leg, but the link for check-in isn't there and it says:

Online Check-In Available On: 10 Jun 2010, 09:55

It is now 10:55, and the check-in link hasn't appeared (unlike last night, when it appear right on the dot when check-in opened). I'm just desperate to get on and secure my seat so I can breathe easy (the joys of being the height of a giant and the extra legroom seat scramble!). Would anyone have any views on if there might be a problem with online check-in or if it's something dumb I'm doing.

It is only 08:51 HKT now.

I did wonder if it was a timezone issue, but when I checked in for the first leg, it was quoting a check-in time of 21:55 (48 hours before the flight left Sydney), and check-in opened at exactly 21.55 EST.

Ahh, hang on, I was being dumb!! Because the second flight leg originates in Hong Kong, the check-in is based on Hong Kong time. DUH! Thanks...I am blonde by the way, which really says it all
