Where are the 744s going?
They're off LAX completely, even SFO (traditionally a 744 location) has some 77As now, AKL gone, etc. I understand that 77A is the future workhorse of CX, but are the 744s being retired? Is this information available online?

I believe SFO is getting 744s for the summer season, when they can fly westbound non-stop without the headwinds (correct me if I'm wrong). Aside from most big European routes (LHR, CDG, FRA and maybe even FCO) and JNB, the 744s are starting to serve a lot of intra-Asia routes (KUL, CGK etc).

...! So is SFO all 77A?!?!?!? This is completly insane. Have you seen 77As in SFO after May??? This is completely nuts, on flightstats, still shows 744's, but why are you seeing 77A? Any clue or something? Maybe I should have a look at SFO and see for myself. This is completly insane. Blah blah blah!!! LAX has been 77A, so no need to complain, why SFO??? And I agree, SFO is double daily 74A for the summer.

i'd calm myself down if all you do is tell me if it's true that 77As are in SFO in May. Because I don't believe they made schedules to decieve people or if people want to track the damn flight, they can see the aircraft is a 747-400 and no one would think its a 77A. because what if i was flying this summer, would i see 77A in SFO or 74A??????? i need 74A for being comfortable for privacy and such.

Thread is going OT.
